While attending the Integrative Medicine Conference in Phoenix Dr Vicki Holmes found two cookbooks that she highly recommends.  In the first chapters the basic influences of food on our body parts including our brains are discussed by the authors. They present the concept of epigenetics, the environment that may suppress or encourage the growth of cancer cells.  A great explanation is provided on how various groups of foods influence blood sugar, inflammation and cancer. The websites provide information about big flavor recipes to enhance brain function, mood, memory and mental clarity.  Try some of the recipes!
